ClickCuesAI helps users create step-by-step guides by recording a browser workflow that the user explicitly chooses to capture. The Chrome extension does not run as background surveillance. Capture starts only after the user selects a tab or starts a guide flow.
Information We Process
When you use ClickCuesAI, we may process:
- Account information such as email address and workspace settings.
- Guide content such as titles, instructions, step metadata, page titles, page URLs, selectors, and screenshots.
- Billing status from payment providers when you upgrade to a paid plan.
- Basic product events such as guide created, guide published, export started, or extension detected.
Chrome Extension Data
The extension records only the browser tab selected by the user. It may capture screenshots, click positions, page URL/title, element labels, element roles, selectors, and form-field metadata needed to build the guide.
Password fields and likely sensitive values are masked or redacted where detected. Users should still review screenshots before publishing or sharing a guide.
How Data Is Stored
Guide records and workspace metadata are stored in Supabase Database. Screenshots are stored in Supabase Storage in a private bucket. Public guide screenshots are served through signed or controlled URLs.
How We Use Data
We use data to provide the ClickCuesAI product: recording workflows, generating editable guides, saving guides, publishing links, exports, and account billing.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use captured screenshots or guide content for advertising.
Deletion
Users can delete guides from the guide folder list. Deleting a guide removes the guide record, related private share tokens, and best-effort removes associated screenshot assets.
